I was one of a handful of cinematographers who filmed this feature documentary directed by Nicholas Bruckman for Hulu and PBS, produced by Peoples TV, with producers Nicholas Bruckman and Amanda Roddy, and executive producers Ryder Haske, Jay Duplass, and Mark Duplass. In the summer of 2018, I spent six unforgettable weeks capturing activist Ady Barkan’s cross-country road trip. It was a journey that balanced challenging cinematography with intense travel, long days, and the emotional weight of documenting Ady’s rapidly declining health. Our approach was intimate and raw, aiming for visuals that reflected the authenticity and urgency of Ady’s mission. Being part of the crew documenting this remarkable story—one that ignited a nationwide healthcare movement—was incredibly meaningful. Always grateful to collaborate with Nick and the Peoples TV team on projects as powerful as this one.

Shot this feature documentary directed by Nicholas Bruckman for PBS and Netflix, produced by Peoples TV. The film explores the wild rise and sudden fall of NFTs, diving deep into how technology transformed the traditional art world—sometimes for the better, sometimes not. Visually, I aimed to blend elements of tech and artistry within each frame, capturing both the energy of innovation and the creativity of the artists. It was fascinating watching some of the artists careers explode in real-time. Seeing people’s lives dramatically change overnight made this one of the most unique and memorable shoots I’ve worked on.

Filmed this powerful documentary directed by Sunita Reed and Peter Logue, highlighting the incredible work of Dr. David Prezant, Chief Medical Officer of the FDNY and professor at Einstein. Dr. Prezant provided critical triage care at Ground Zero on 9/11 and continues to advocate tirelessly for first responders. This was a deeply moving project, featuring some of the most profound interviews I’ve ever filmed. My approach was intentionally classic and natural, aiming for simplicity and honesty in each frame to honor the gravity and emotional depth of the stories shared. It was truly special to document Dr. Prezant’s ongoing dedication and the experiences of these remarkable first responders.
